Day 12

Day 12 - 02/02/2010

what a day! first time i fell down and scrapped my knee in goodness know how many years. haha. it was so embarrassing! i was walking up the slope to my workplace, and there were security cones. linking each cones were chains, and guess wat?? i tripped on the chains!! and i fell on my knee, bringing down a few cones with me. oh my goodness. haha. i hope no one was laughing at me. i got up and basically walked all the way back to the office.

i felt my knee paining, but i just ignored it coz i needed to get ready to go to the workshop already. then only i realised that the wound was a little more serious than i imagined. i thought that it was just a scratch, but some skin came out, so when it rubs agains my jeans, it hurts a little. haha. hmmm, i havent felt this type of pain for a long time. i may sound crazy, but sometimes a little pain is good. haha.

so off i went to all the workshops, following my mechanical supervisor. we went to many places, from phileo, to nilai, to shah alam and back to phileo again. we left at 9.30, and reached the office at bout 4.30. imagine that! haha. we went to nilai to witness the hydrotest on the pressure vessel. it was pretty interesting, but boring at the same time. we have to wait for them to pump in air to increase the pressure. once the pressure stabilized, we have to wait one hour. so boring! haha. they went to have a drink and i just followed. lol. below are several picts of the hydrotest:

then we went for lunch. guess where we went for lunch?? it was at a highway, and ya noe dat there're pitstops on the highway? yea, i went there for lunch. it was all malay food! goodness. haha. so i had nasi lemak. yea, rm4 for a nasi lemak that was basically non existant. haha. no picts yea, sorry. haha. :)

after that we went to another workshop called vantage where the engineers. my colleagues wanted to see the fabrication of the pipe spools. nothing very interesting, just basically see pipes. loads n loads of pipes. so after that, we went to the painting and blasting yard. there ms. goh saw her baby. 5 babies to be exact, da sixth one was undergoing hydrotest at the moment. haha. :p

after that we went straight back. nothing much after that already. was very tired when i reached home. wanted to konk out there ady. i watched princess and the frog at night. hehe. hmmm.. i wonder, who thinks of me as their evangeline? hehe. :D
